Charmed Test Page 2by ~Tarzman

This is the second of two submission pages done as part of my efforts to get the Charmed gig from Zenescope. I also did some portrait shots of each girl; Holly Marie Combs, Allyssa Milano, and Rose McGowan, as well as full figure shots, creating sort of model sheets for each character. So far the likeness thing has been a challenge; there are days where I sit down to draw and everything just comes out right, and other days where the likenesses seem ellusive. It's my philosophy to not let the photos detirmine the pose, but to first work out the panels and the storytelling for each page, and then try to get the likeness as close as possible. I'll always have several photos of whoever I'm drawing laying in clear view around my drawing table.

Great work, these few frames alone set up an interesting and dramatic scene; it's amazing how you can tell a story in a so efficient way; i love the fire frame in the central part.
