In the legends there's a fable about Loki convincing Thor to dress up as a woman to marry a giant(forgot his name)who'd stolen his hammer Mjollnir and would return it only if Freya married him. Thor got conned by Loki to dress up as Freya and got Mjollnir back as a wedding present...and wasted the giant!!
I'm sure Thor would never have looked as sexy as what the Thora(!)you've drawn, but hey, he was a giant, and slow I suppose.
Great job. Things like this make comicbook dreams!
i just heard about there being a female thor. there's always a female version for the males...so i'm interested in cosplayer her and i was looking for the pic's when i came across this. this i might be able to do. thanks
any chance you read the marvel comic book called 'Earth X'? in it loki had tricked odin to turn thor in to a woman... and well.. you almost had it down. if you didnt read it you came freakin close. and he....she... came out well
Great look here. Have you seen the Marvel Animated movie "Avengers Next" ? Yeah, Thor has a daughter in that one! So, this idea is not very far fetched at all. I guess this would be an older and *cough* more MATURE version of her... heh.
The art itself is nicely done, but as for design I think the armor could use more functionality, instead of just being a strap of cloth held in place by a belt, leaving her crotch bare.
I am sure something more dignified, functional and audacious would work better. Honestly, you went overboard with sexualizing the girl, if she's supposed to be a female version of Thor... I just don't see him in her.
Yeah, I agree it's a bit over the top sexually, and not a real practical outfit. This was a commission piece, so I was trying to please a sexed starved guy who wanted a female version of Thor to ogle. If I was doing the character for myself she would look much different, a bit more real world than fantasy.
